What is the process of having Veneers?
Veneers are a two-appointment process. The teeth are prepared with a light buffing and reshaping of the surface to prepare for the Veneer. Dr. Eifler will create an impression (or mold) of the teeth. Then you will select a shade (or color) that you desire.
At your second visit Dr. Eifler will clean your teeth with a special liquid to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is used and a special light beam may be applied to harden and set the bond of the Veneer to the tooth.
Our staff will provide you with easy to follow instructions for caring for your veneers. Proper dental hygiene will contribute greatly to the length of life of your new Veneers, and this includes regular flossing and twice-a-day brushing.
