“. . . or at least the beginning of a crowning achievement. I was greeted warmly by Beverly, the receptionist/girl Friday whose demeanor always makes me feel welcome. Dental assistant Beverly (yes,there are two) ushered me into the treatment room and made sure I was comfortable, took one x-ray, then summoned Dr. Eifler who quickly numbed the area where he'd be working. With a warning, "a little noise, a little vibration," Dr. Eifler expertly removed decay and shaped the tooth accept a crown. A few impressions, and Beverly fashioned a temporary crown, cemented it in place, and I was on my way. No pain, no discomfort.”

“Dr. Eifler and his staff have the softest touch I've ever experienced (and I've had three previous dentists, two orthodontists, and all of their assistants working on me). They pay a lot of attention to how comfortable you seem. I once unfolded my hands while they were fitting a crown, and they stopped everything to see if I was in pain--hardly! I was just fidgety because I was bored, it didn't hurt at all.”

“Actually my first visit to Dr. Odom's new office was very upsetting. I was quite disturbed to find out the new office does not contract with Delta Dental. At the very least a letter should have gone out or a phone call to prepare the customer that there would be out of pocket expenses. My insurance covers 2 visits 100% for exams, x-rays each year with no charge to me. Why would I choose to have to pay money out of my pocket or up front for something I've received payment free for 15 years? Although Mary was excellent as usual, I find the need to find a new dentist that will accept my insurance. Like many people my income was reduced drastically this year, but I'm thankful to have a job. However, I am also thankful that there are other dentist out there that contract with my insurance company and don't make any charges up front. To Dr Odom, I've loved having you as my dentist all these years, but am disappointed that the doctor you've chosen to take over your patients doesn't want the administrative hassle of working with a dental provided that saves clients quite a bit of money. My best to you and your future retirement. Chris Carson”

We've been clients for many, many years and there always seems to be something better (patient care) VDG folks are introducing at each visit. Dr. Eifler always takes the time to explain procedures & concepts as well as caring for your well being. Beverly is a true gem, one cannot have a bad day after seeing Bev. The only item I wasn't crazy about, was the music - but that's a personal choice. Truly, I can't imagine a better group of folks to manage your dental care.”

“My first visit at the new practice was good. Everyone in the office along with the new doctor was nice. Mary has been my hygienist for almost 10 years and she's great. Of course with one other comment I noticed was the full payment and reimbursement policy. Since this practice out of network, my typical free cleaning will probably cost me a few dollars when I'm finally reimbursed.”
